Can I Embed my Youtube video on Thailand.TV?

Thailand.TV does not embed Youtube videos. We require the video file video be uploaded.

Can I embed videos from other sites? Vimeo, dailymotion, Blip.tv?

No. We require all videos to be uploaded.

What kind of videos can I put on Thailand.TV?

We welcome videos from everyone with an interest in Thailand. We love to receive videos from NGOs, businesses, travelers, producers and everyone in between. Chances are if you have a video that has something to do with Thailand, we will publish it.

Are there any quality guidelines?

Yes, we are not too fussy but if your video is unwatchable, there is a chance it won't be published. The most important thing is that your video tells a story.

You published my video, and it didn't go on the front page. Why not?

Thailand.TV is human edited. Most videos make it to the front page at some point but we will naturally promote videos that show more interest from viewers. If your video is lower quality it may not be shown on the front page at all and may begin lower on the "Watch" page.

I have a great video of my buddies on Soi Cowboy, can I put it on Thailand.TV?

No. Thailand.TV does not publish overtly sexual or political content that may cause offense.

Why would I upload my video to Thailand.TV?

Many of the videos published on Thailand.TV get more views than the large video sites. We have a social media following of over 10,000 people. Being on Thailand.TV is a great way to get in front of an audience interested in Thailand.

Is there a video size upload limit?

The size limit is currently 1GB. Although we prefer to receive smaller size videos, so if your video is large we appreciate if you compress it into a smaller format (without compromising too much on quality) before uploading.
