The Chao Phraya is one of Thailand's largest and most important rivers. The Chao Phraya begins at Nakhon Sawan and flows 370 kilometers south through Bangkok and empties into the Gulf of Thailand. The people of Bangkok use the Chao Phraya daily to commute to different piers throughout the city.

Wat Pho is one of the oldest and most beautiful temples in Bangkok. The surrounding gardens of the temple feature intricately decorated Thai style architecture and buddhist spires. The main attraction at Wat Pho is the reclining Buddha statue which depicts Buddha at the time of his death.
